How much does a website for a trade business cost?
Two routes. Pay Monthly is £150 setup plus £99 a month, with no contract or minimum term, which includes a custom-coded site, 10 service-location pages, basic SEO, hosting and maintenance. The Full SEO package is £500 for the first month, which includes the build, then £500 a month with no contract and a 14-day notice period, and adds Local SEO and AI visibility.
Why not just use WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
They are fine for some businesses. For a trade business, most visitors arrive on a phone and want to call or send a quote request quickly. Template builders often load extra scripts and plugins that slow pages down. We hand-code each site in Astro so pages stay light and the structure is built for search engines and AI tools from the start.
How long does a build take?
Typically 7 to 14 business days from receiving your services list, areas and photos. You see a preview before anything goes live.
Who owns the domain name?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, usually £10 to £15 a year, and is your only direct external cost. Hosting and SSL are included through Cloudflare Pages.
Do I need professional photos?
No. Clear phone photos of your real jobs beat stock images. We optimise them for speed and use only your genuine work, never stock images passed off as yours.
Can I start on Pay Monthly and add SEO later?
Yes. Pay Monthly sites are built on the same foundation as the Full SEO package, so there is nothing to rebuild. Tell us when you are ready and we will sort the switch.
