Klean Touch
WordPress-to-Astro rebuild, hub-and-spoke local SEO, and data-driven borough expansion — an active ongoing campaign.

The client
Klean Touch is a commercial cleaning company serving London offices, blocks, schools, and gyms. They came to TradesRank running on an old WordPress site with no work photography and no structured local SEO strategy — just a generic template competing against national cleaning chains and directory listings for the same broad terms.
What we built
We rebuilt the entire site from scratch in Astro — no WordPress, no page builder, no code reuse from the old build. The new architecture is hub-and-spoke: dedicated service hub pages, sector pages (offices, schools, gyms), audience pages, and borough-specific commercial and office cleaning pages across London, each written with its own local detail rather than a single template with the town name swapped in.
Real trust signals, not manufactured ones
Klean Touch has a genuine, 5-star Google Business Profile, and we built the site around real operational trust points — full insurance, DBS checks on request, absence cover, and photo-quality reporting — rather than generic reassurance copy. We also processed the client's first real work photography from an on-site deep clean job, replacing the placeholder imagery that was flagged as a gap in our initial audit.
Data-driven borough expansion
Rather than guessing which London boroughs to target upfront, we launched the core hub pages first and then used real Google Search Console data to find where searches were happening that the site wasn't yet built to capture. That analysis identified Barnet as a clear gap — real search volume for "office cleaning Barnet" with no dedicated page to catch it — so we researched what was already ranking there and built a page positioned specifically against those competitors, rather than a copy-paste of the existing template. The same process was then repeated for several more boroughs.
Results
In its first month live, the rebuilt site was already generating real organic clicks and impressions in Google Search Console, with average position in the mid-50s across its target queries — a solid early trajectory for a brand-new domain. The campaign is active and ongoing, with new borough pages added as real search data identifies the next opportunity.
All results are observed actuals at time of writing. We do not manufacture metrics.
